New to Infinity: MicroPen TR Tattoo Removal!

The MicroPen TR essentially reverses the application of the tattoo, removing and lifting the ink from the skin.

Infinity Skin Care is the very first provider in the state of Iowa to offer mechanical, epidermal tattoo removal via the new MicroPen TR Tattoo Removal device! This state-of-the-art treatment out-performs traditional laser treatments and safely removes all colors of tattoo inks. For many, old-school removal techniques presented considerable downsides, including the expense and concerns about what happens to potentially dangerous inks in the body after a treatment. Unlike lasers that explode ink within the body, MicroPen TR therapy lifts the ink out and away from the skin safely, reducing the risk of potentially carcinogenic ink compounds being broken down and absorbed into the liver and lymphatic system. A series of 3-6 treatments is needed spaced 8 weeks apart.

HOW IT WORKS:

The MicroPen TR essentially reverses the application of the tattoo, removing and lifting the ink from the skin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Does MicroPen TR work on all tattoos?

Yes. The MicroPen TR works on all colors, ages, sizes and styles of tattoos. Only natural products are used for the tattoo ink removal process.

What happens to the Ink?

The MicroPen's technique causes the tattoo pigment to rise to the surface during the healing process in the form of scabs. In approximately two weeks, the scabs will fall off along with the ink.

How large of an area can be treated during a typical session?

It's recommended that the treatment area should be no larger than 6" x 6".

How often can I be treated?

It's recommended that patients wait 8 weeks in between treatment sessions.

Can I remove more than one tattoo at a time?

Several small tattoos can be treated at the same time.

How many sessions do I need?

An entire tattoo is not treated in a single session. It is treated in segments to allow the area to heal correctly and reduce the risk of scarring. The process is repeated until the entire tattoo has been removed.

Is the process painful?

Your Infinity provider will use numbing cream prior to the procedure. Patients have reported minimal discomfort.
