Kimberly K. Schulz, MD, graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She completed residencies at both the Mayo Clinic and University of Iowa and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Schulz served as an assistant professor and as a volunteer faculty member in the University of Iowa's dermatology department.
Today, she practices general and surgical dermatology with a special focus in cosmetic dermatology and the treatment of varicose and spider veins. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Phlebology.
Dr. Schulz trains her staff and educates patients on the importance of overall skin health, an important and lifelong commitment. It is her mission to help Iowa patients combat and reverse photo damage, which leads to skin cancer, sun spots, wrinkles, and skin laxity.
Her steadfast commitment to skin health has helped countless patients realize the importance of daily sunscreen application. She encourages everyone to schedule routine checks to watch for signs of skin cancer.
She is a certified national trainer for several national healthcare companies. Dr. Schulz frequently travels to physician clinics across the country to share her expertise and knowledge on injectables. She was recently awarded Diamond Status by Allergan, Inc. (the makers of Juvéderm, Botox® Cosmetic and Voluma), placing her in the top two percent of physician injectors in the United States. She has also recently been awarded Presidential Status by Galderma, the maker of Dysport®, the Restylane® family of fillers and Sculptra® Aesthetic.
Dr. Schulz is an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society For Laser Medicine and Surgery.
